Electric Arc Rated Hoods

ARC approved hoods - for that added protection for electricians. Designed with three things in mind - safety, quality (comfort, durability, and mobility), and value. Choosing the right protection does not need to be complicated.

Tests were performed and analyzed in accordance with ASTM F1959-99. These hoods performed with an ATPV of 10 cal/cm2 (and meet more than the minimum of HRC 2 for NFPA 70E).

Pac I Hood

The PAC I style is favorable because of it's one piece construction (plus added shoulder inserts). The PAC I hood fits like a second layer of skin. The added shoulder inserts provides extra shoulder protection.

 

Pac IA Hood

The PAC IA style is the most economical hood that we offer (without taking away the integrity of the hood or it's purpose). The PAC IA hood fits like a second layer of skin. The notched shoulder allows for proper drape, yet doesn't restrict movement.

 

Pac II Hood

The PAC II style is our most popular style of fire retardant hoods. The notched shoulder allows for proper drapage for added protection across the chest area. The longer length (3 inches longer than NFPA requires) assures that this hood will stay tucked inside other required equipment.
